About

As one of the UK’s most exciting photographers, Phillip’s work has taken him across five continents and disciplines as diverse as fashion, film and extreme sports.

After studying Indian Philosophy and Shamanic Studies at SOAS, he forged his early career in fashion as an assistant to US Vogue’s exclusive backstage photographer.

He then moved into film and television as stills photographer for the BBC, during which he won the coveted Royal Photographic Society Award for Aspiring Photographers.

With a personal interest in the unusual and adventurous, his reportage work has included covering the world’s largest human gathering at the Kumbh Mela, India and horse trekking across the Namibian Desert.

One of only four “Visionary Ambassadors” for Olympus, his professional work now involves a variety of exclusive projects for leading brands and events.

His published works include a unique chronicle of Burning Man, one of the world’s most extraordinary festivals, and his work has been exhibited at galleries around the world.

He splits his time between London and the French Alps.
